Pictured below is our ScopeGuard airline carry-on case for the Astro-Physics f6.3 StarFire EDF Gran Turismo. The external dimensions of 22.00"L x 14.00"W x 9.00"D meet the standard recognized airline carry-on size restriction.
The SG/AP130GT case features a standard Ethafoam interior. The Ethafoam insert is produced by a CNC hotwire foam cutter to the precise dimensions of the three (3) components of the Astro-Physics f6.3 StarFire EDF Gran Turismo.
Initially we are offering the case in a Light Gray ABS/Ply, a very close match to the cases provided by Astro-Physics with their refractors. Additional colors may be offered at a later date.
We have a quantity of the cases components pre-cut on our Techno-Isel LC4896 CNC Router ready for assembly. We also have in stock a large quantity of the Ethafoam inserts. We do have a few cases complete and ready for shipment.
The insert for the case in the photo below is not the CNC hotwire cut Ethafoam but was done in our shop. This case was supplied to Astro-Physics for their exhibit at NEAF 2008.
